🚛 ONCE IT SITS ON A PALLET, THE PARCEL CARRIERS STOP BEING THE ANSWER

A load that weighs more than the person carrying it runs on different rules: its own paperwork, its own pricing, its own trucks. We book it from this counter, so you are not calling trucking companies yourself and hoping one of them calls back.

Freight is quoted, not sold off a price list. The number moves with weight, dimensions, distance, whether there is a dock at each end and how fast it has to get there.

You don't need a minimum order of a thousand and a two-week wait. A hundred cards covers most of a year for most people around here, and we print them on card stock we keep on hand.

✓ $40 for 100 cards, single-sided
✓ $60 for 100 cards, double-sided
✓ Add $30 and we lay the card out for you

Nothing gets sent to a plant and nothing waits on a delivery truck, which is why a hundred is a normal order here.

Send a PDF to [email protected] if you have artwork ready. If you do not, bring the details you want on the card: name, title, phone, email and logo. You see a proof before anything goes on paper.

Photos and logos pulled off a website are usually too small to print sharply, so send the original file if you still have it.

Bigger runs are priced at the counter. Tell us how many and whether the back is printed.

Most people find out they need a second key on a Friday night. The machine sits right at our counter, so you can hand over a package and walk out with a spare on the same trip.

✓ Single-sided key: $4.00
✓ Double-sided key: $7.50
✓ Cut and tested while you stand at the counter, no appointment

House and apartment keys, office keys, padlock, shed and gate keys, mailbox keys and plain or colored blanks if you want the spare to look different from the original.

Bring the original if you still have it. A copy cut from another copy drifts a little each time and eventually stops turning smoothly.

What we do not cut: car and truck keys. A modern vehicle key carries a chip that has to be programmed to the car, and that is dealership work. We will tell you that straight instead of wasting your trip.

Film fades on its own, and the machines that can still read it get harder to find every year.

Bring the box down from the closet. VHS, 8mm, Hi8, Mini DV, film reels, slides, cassettes and records all go out from our counter and come back digital.

The transfer is done by After Image Video Productions, a studio that has been at this for over thirty years and handles media going back to the 1930s. We take the drop-off, arrange the shipping both ways and call you when it is ready.

✓ Video tape to digital: $29.95 for the first tape, $20.00 each tape after
✓ Film to HD, 8mm, Super 8 or 16mm: $49.95 for the first 50 feet, then $0.25 a foot
✓ Photos and slides: $99.95 for the first 50, negative scans $3.00 each

A broken tape is usually not a lost tape. It can be spliced or moved into a new shell and then transferred. Tapes recorded overseas convert from PAL so they play on a machine here.

October is the month to start. Ask us for the turnaround when you drop the box off and you will know where you stand.

Moving, selling a bike, sending one to a race or to a kid at college. Bring it in and we'll figure out how it goes.

Front wheel off, pedals off, handlebars turned or removed, the frame padded at every tube. Then it goes in a box that matches the bike, because bike sizes vary more than people expect.

Bring the bicycle to the counter and we measure it and quote the packing and the shipping together, in one number.

✓ Coverage is $4 for every $100 of declared value, up to $7,500
✓ Insured jobs get photographed at every stage of packing, because that's what a claim needs
✓ Anything heavier than a bicycle usually moves as freight, which is a different quote and a different timeline

New Orleans is full of artists, and the things they make have to travel. A regular box doesn't get a canvas there in one piece, so we build something better.

An inner box around the piece, cushioning around that, and an outer box around the whole thing. Corners and edges get built up, because that's where damage happens. Glass and glazed frames get treated as glass, not as a picture.

Invitations, table cards, a menu, a sign for the door, programs for the school function. Anything with a date on it.

Regular pages are 25 cents black and white and 69 cents in color. Card stock, heavier paper and anything larger change the price, so tell us the job and we quote the whole thing.

Bring the wording, the date and any photo you want on it. If you need the layout done, that's $60 an hour and we quote it before starting.
