After today's No Kings Rally stop by the Mesquite Art Gallery in Las Cruces NM. I will be there at 2 pm to discuss my photography and the wonderful range of artwork displayed by the Ten O’Clock Club (the "Tenners"), the classic photography by our late beloved Mel Stone, guest artist Bob Diven's brilliant cartoon work, and a selection of my own photography.

The Mesquite Art Gallery is located in the heart of downtown at 340 N Mesquite St, Las Cruces, NM 88001. (The corner of Mesquite and Court Ave). There's always convenient parking just outside the gallery.

I, and the other artists, look forward to welcoming you!

The Tombaugh Gallery continues its ground-breaking exhibit of the work of artist Or-Dima with a reception this Friday, Feb 6, 2026 from 5-7 pm. The continuing exhibit has been refreshed with the addition of a blue series from the artist. Or-Dima will be present.

Or-Dima's work contain mythological and narrative contexts, often referring to Tibetan deities.

The Tombaugh Gallery is located at 2000 S Solano St, Las Cruces NM 88001, inside the Unitarian Universalist Church, and is open from 10 am to 2 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11:30 am to 2 pm on Sundays.

Join us tomorrow, Saturday Jan 31, for biscochitos and free chances to win B&W fine art prints as we celebrate the final weekend of my exhibit at Mesquite Art Gallery! I'll be there to visit with you from 11-2 on Saturday with print winners announced at 2 pm.

Greg Smith will be interviewing me Tuesday morning, Jan 20 on KTAL radio in Las Cruces. 8 am on 101.5 FM, Greg's show "Cafe con Leche". I was talked into this (kicking and screaming?) in conjunction with my Mesquite Art Gallery exhibit that runs thru this month (January 2026). We'll be talking about photography, the art community in Las Cruces... and more! Thanks very much, Greg.

The Mesquite Art Gallery and the Ten o'Clockers Group are hosting a gallery talk this Saturday at 1 pm (Jan 10, 2026) in conjunction with my exhibit: The Janus Project: Scott Weaver Photos 2004-2025. It will be a lively discussion about photography and art creation and everyone is invited!

I have a new exhibit of my photography opening this Friday (Jan 2, 2026) at the Mesquite Art Gallery! It's titled: The Janus Project: Photography 2004-2025. 2004 was the year I began shooting digitally, a change to my processes and possibilities that was profound.

The 10 O'Clockers Group - who are my partners with this exhibit - will also be showing new work at the opening reception: 4-8 pm, Jan 2, 2026 a the Mesquite Art Gallery, 340 N Mesquite, Las Cruces NM 88001. I would love to see you there!

Recently completed photographing El Paso's new La Nube STEAM Discovery Center, an assignment that actually began four years ago when I photographed the empty dirt lot! This was one of the two largest jobs I've ever taken on.
