I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the Graff Caps brand, like what exactly are caps/nozzles, what do my characters represent etc… so I’m deciding to start a weekly post every Friday where I’ll discuss different topics and hopefully give you guys some insights. The next 2 Graff Caps designs are the Super Fat Spray Cap a.k.a Pink Fat Cap and the Orange Dot Fat Cap.
Both caps are used to create very large lines perfect for covering big areas and fill-ins, with the Pink Fat being able to produce a slightly larger stroke width.

9 out of 12 designs so far….the only problem with using actual graffiti caps is a lot of times they’re identical they just come in different colors or have different tips inside to produce various spray lines. Tell me your favorite Cap in the comments below.

Been craving some good Vietnamese coffee lately, came across Yo! Mochi on insta and since they’re only like 10 mins away decided to give them a try. The Ube Viet Coffee did not disappoint. Not only did it wake my ass up but it also inspired this little character. Should have gotten some mochi donuts but that just means I have an excuse to go again. Just found my new coffee spot. 10/10 would recommend.

If you know me, I’m not really much of a reader. My attention span and books just don’t go together. But for whatever reason reading on the kindle made it seem less overwhelming. I’ve been following .by.james for a while and his insights, advice and overall attitude towards design and the creative process in general has been really inspiring to me and brought back the passion for the art that I’ve been missing lately. So I knew the first thing I wanted to do was read his book. Everything in this book hit home with me and really just resonated with my creative soul, from his back story to his design process, even his approach to working with clients. It really sparked that passion that I hadn’t felt since when I first started doing graphic design and coding websites in the early 2000s. It made me re-evaluate the way I was running my creative career and made me realize I was trying to do too much at once and that I needed to regroup and refocus and put my time and energy into 1 or 2 things instead of having it spread out thinly over multiple projects. I can’t say enough good things about this book, if you’re feeling a little lost or even stuck in either your career or life in general and need a little push to get you back on track it’s definitely worth the read.
