Most businesses are using AI like a fancy calculator when they should be using it like a chess computer.
Here's what I mean: Your competitor down the street just got AI to write their Instagram captions 10x faster.
Cool.
They're now producing mediocre content at lightning speed.
Meanwhile, smart businesses are asking AI completely different questions:"Which of our customers are about to churn?"
"What do our best customers have in common that we haven't noticed?"
"If we launch this campaign, what's likely to happen?"
See the difference?
One approach is about doing more. The other is about knowing more.
At LUCID, we've watched this play out in real-time.
The businesses freaking out about AI "taking jobs" are usually the ones trying to use it as a cheap replacement.
The businesses thriving? They're using AI to make their humans unstoppable.
Here's our honest take after a year of this:AI without human strategy = expensive noise
Human strategy without AI = flying blind
Both together = actual competitive advantage
The weirdest part is that "AI revolution" isn't really about the technology. It's about being willing to ask better questions.
