Some of our first PR lessons didn’t come from a classroom. They came from familia. 🤎

The things we grew up hearing (and maybe didn’t fully appreciate at the time) taught us a lot about connection, communication and showing up for people.

These are more than just lessons we grew up with. They’re values passed down from generation to generation, shaping how we show up today and what we hope to pass along to the next generation.

We’re proud to celebrate the culture, traditions and experiences that shaped us and the lessons we’ll continue carrying forward. ✨

A proud EAC moment! ✨

Last week, Ericka Aviles was recognized at the Nevada Governor’s Hispanic Trailblazer Awards, celebrating leaders whose dedication, service, and impact continue to make a difference across Nevada.

As the founder of EAC, Ericka has built more than a business. Through her leadership, her work with Team EAC, and her commitment to advocating for our community, she continues to create opportunities and make an impact across Nevada.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, Ericka got to celebrate a little differently and share this incredible accomplishment with her mom, her sister, and her daughters, making the moment even more special. 💛

A meaningful reminder of the journey that brought her here, the impact she continues to make, and all that’s still ahead. We’re proud to celebrate this moment with you, Ericka! ✨

✨On Dolly Parton Day, let’s throw it back to a recent “9-5” kind of day, because this pink moment deserves it 💖

I spent lunch hour with our AAPI community and left full in every way. “A Women’s Leadership Luncheon” was filled with real talk- the struggles, triumphs and much more!

Small business can feel lonely and grueling… but as I always say, “surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed. “

These are women who inspire and who embrace me warmly as well as keep opening doors, for me and for one another 🌸🤝.

It’s always also special finding a new local spot to go back and support like this one! .

This is what community looks like. Grateful for you 🫶🏼

Culture is always at the heart of how we connect. ❤️

It’s in the stories we share, the communities we serve, the way we communicate and the relationships we build. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we continue to celebrate the people, perspectives and cultura that make EAC, EAC! ✨

Because for us, Hispanic heritage isn’t a one-month campaign. It’s part of who we are. It shapes how we connect, how we tell stories and how we show up for our communities every day.

While many of us are off today enjoying the long weekend 🌅, let’s acknowledge the restaurant and hospitality workforce.

was established in 1894 as a federal holiday to celebrate the social and economic achievements of American workers. Not just a day off. A day for the people who work. 👷🧑‍🍳🛠️

Last week, I had a seat at the table. 🪑 I was invited to a roundtable with Acting Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling, alongside restaurant and agriculture leaders across Nevada and the country. I didn’t just show up as a board member of the Nevada Restaurant Association. I showed up as a Salvadoran 🇸🇻 immigrant who came to Las Vegas at six years old, built a life here, and a decade ago built a PR and community outreach firm that now employs a team of 8.

I used that seat to speak for people who don’t have one: coworkers, friends, employees, extended family, and thousands of others in my Salvadoran and immigrant communities whose futures hang on a policy deadline most people will never think twice about.

Here’s why it matters, in numbers: 📊

🍳 51% of line cooks in Nevada are foreign-born, vs. 17% nationally.

🏨 Nevada has the highest share of foreign-born hospitality workers of any state, at 37% of our tourism and hospitality workforce.

🌎 1 in 3 restaurant owners in Nevada is foreign-born.

💵 The restaurant industry generates $23.3 billion in annual sales in Nevada and employs 231,000 people, making it the largest private employer in the state.

Some of my remarks included: ⬇️

“Secretary Sonderling, today we need your help to extend Salvadorans’ temporary status, but really, we need the Department of Labor to champion a pathway for all people with temporary status to be made permanent residents, and afford them the same opportunities that our families both had.”

Thank you 🙏 to the American Business Immigration Coalition and Nevada Restaurant Association for the invitation and for trusting me with a seat at that table. I don’t take it lightly.

Happy Labor Day ❤️ to the workers who built this industry, and to the ones still fighting for the chance to keep building it.
