What an insanely crazy busy week as I prepare for one full week away from the office. There is always this fear of loss of momentum when I am away, but I need to breathe! The work will continue and my brand stands strong, just need to trust my efforts to connect with those that mean so much to me. (You the audience!). 🙌💙🏜

Today I attended an amazing Clubhouse session on ethics in copywriting...and let me tell you, although many of the things discussed I organically do in my messaging, I still learned SO much.

As a writer, and as marketers, your words have power. Understanding that the order of things should be "customer --> service --> copy" means recognizing that your customer is your main focus when crafting your words. Speaking to them from a place of empathy and support, versus poking pain points and reminding them of their failures, is the path you want to walk.

Really feeling this vibe right now in an EXTRA strong way. ⁣

I am always yelling this from the mountain tops for the people in the back because I am SO passionate about it. Apologizing for who you are or trying to represent yourself in a way that feels disconnected from the truth of who you are will leave you more than likely feeling lost, stressed, and overwhelmed.⁣
⁣
Letting your light shine is ALLOWED in personal branding. In fact, it is necessary. And here's a little fun fact, as you change and evolve, that transparency of that evolution will come through your brand. For me, I find myself as of late, super, insanely compelled to create and CONNECT with other creatives. There is a driving force pushing me to do more so my laser focus is a little more scattered, but ya know what? That's OK. I still have my systems, schedules, and all that good stuff, but there has to be room to be fluid. To let your energy change and transform...and it is SO much easier to allow that flow to happen when your brand is literally YOU.⁣
⁣
So be YOU. Just rock it. Don't apologize for it. Share your stories. Connect with your audience. Ring the bell that you are here, and you aren't leaving the space you've made. ⁣
