Some things don’t need to be done, like Novo Nordisk using "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman in its newest Wegovy commercial, detracting from its original impact. Fox Music/Twentieth Century Fox, Kobalt Music, and Pick in a Pinch Music, who granted the rights for this usage, undermined the artistic integrity of the song. What was once a powerful message of empowerment has now been reduced to an irritating commercial tool. This is a clear case: just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Finally visited the massive West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for the LVCVA International Market Update and was able to catch up with Briana Philippi and Mallory Zito. I learned a few things:

1. Canada is the #1 mkt into LV.

2. Mexico taught us a new phrase – “bleisure time”= remote work with pleasure.

3. In the UK, spending is a priority preferring premium holidays over multiple vacations.

4. Koreans visit multiple cities staying three days max.

5. Germans are the ultimate travelers with vacations of 17-20 days! I’m just trying to line up a three-day weekend and take off the Thursday and Friday before to make it a week-long 😅

6. The views from the patio at night are guaranteed to be beautiful for an evening event.

Since June 2012, FRSCO has donated more than $350,000 to RMHC. The Smith’s restaurants also host McTeacher’s Nights, and in 2022, they partnered with 19 schools and donated over $12,000, the company reported.
