Geary Company Advertising For over four decades, we’ve brought our advertising experience to partner companies and found success through their success. It all started with Elvis Presley.

The Geary Company was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada by Richard W. Geary in 1969 and incorporated in 1970. Throughout the early seventies, we worked almost exclusively with artists (entertainers), promoting their engagements in Las Vegas, throughout the United States and around the world. Already working with most of the major resort hotel and casinos coordinating clients’ (entertainment) marketing

efforts, we established ourselves in all aspects of the hotel/resort/gaming advertising industry. Today, the Geary Company works with an array of categories including
gaming, real estate, media, dining, consumer goods, medical, legal, entertainment, financial, construction, transportation, automotive, professional sports and public service.

Today we’re wishing a very Happy Birthday to the legendary Elvis Presley!

At The Geary Company, this day always holds a special place in our hearts. Not just because he’s a Las Vegas icon, but because he was our very first client. We’ve come a long way since those early days in Vegas, but we’ll never forget the spark that started it all. Thank you, Elvis, for being a part of our history.

The Geary Company had a blast hosting the local AAF Ad Club Grand Slam Mixer at the Las Vegas Ballpark! It was an incredible night of baseball, networking, and fun with some of the best in the Las Vegas Advertising industry! A huge thank you to everyone who came out!

Way to go, JT! Congrats to long-time GearyCo client, JT Mollner. After just two weekends in theaters, his big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Long Walk” has been making great progress, climbing past the $20 million mark, and is one of the best-reviewed Stephen King Movies since The Shawshank Redemption!

We’ve worked with JT and his dad, Duke, in promoting Las Vegas’ Freakling Bros Horror Shows.
(Due to his overwhelming demand as a Hollywood screenwriter, the Horror Shows will be on hiatus this year, but JT says look out for a crazy, exciting new haunt in 2026!)

JT never stops, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Monday, August 11, is the Clark County School District’s 1st day of school, so here's a 1st day of school throwback! Who else remembers the excitement (and maybe a few jitters!) of the first day of school? 🍎✏️ We went digging through the archives for these gems!�
Here's a look back at Jim and John on their first day. For John, the anticipation was high before starting at Normandy Park Elementary in Seattle. He'd walk a mile to school, taking "the back trail" through the woods, and his favorite part of recess was catching frogs! Jim's kindergarten was at Paradise Elementary right here in Las Vegas, with his class being held in the basement, right across from the Thomas and Mack Center. That same building is now the William S. Boyd School of Law Library!�
