Any other former kinkoids out there? I worked at three - Las Vegas, Pleasanton, and Colorado Springs.

Memories of kinko's: I was hired nearly on the spot by Gina Jones at the Maryland Parkway store in Las Vegas. She and Chris were the only "typesetters" in the store. Thankfully, I owned a Mac; I had used PageMaker, Microsoft Word and was ready to work.

I learned more design skills there than any other place. It was trial by fire. It was the dawn of desktop publishing. We all used the very early versions of software that became industry standards. Businesses all over Las Vegas came to us to design things. We were good, fast, and cheap!

Colleagues I remember: Gina Jones, Chris Tyler, David Adler, Debbie Countryman, Melanie (?), and Tyrone.

Like thousands of others out there, I worked at kinko's when then ruled the copy world. I was part of the LaserType team - the people on the leading edge of desktop publishing. I was very surprised nobody had already claimed this page on Facebook. Sorry it took so long to add something. Bring your memories and photos!
