Help Fort Ligonier name their new sheep!

We need YOUR help to name the newest and cutest additions to the fort!

Our sweet ewe lambs from Myers Livestock and Adams Family Farms did not come to us with names--and we can't keep calling them "Sheep" or "Hey you."

Friends of the fort (that's you!) are invited to submit names with a minimum $1 donation. Proceeds will go towards the care and support of the sheep (food, bedding, fencing, etc.) through our ! program.

Submit your name suggestions and donation by Tuesday, June 30 at the link below. ⬇️

We were proud to celebrate a ribbon cutting for the Loyalhanna Watershed Association as they welcomed the community to the opening day of the Ligonier Valley Farmers Market.

Community members, local leaders, vendors, and supporters gathered to mark the occasion and recognize the important work of the Loyalhanna Watershed Association, whose mission is “Working to Conserve, Protect and Restore the Loyalhanna Creek Watershed.” The event highlighted both the opening of another exciting farmers market season and the organization's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, conservation, and community engagement.

The Ligonier Valley Farmers Market provides a vibrant space for residents and visitors to connect with local farmers, artisans, and small businesses while supporting the region’s agricultural community. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the watershed property, the market serves as a gathering place that celebrates both local commerce and the natural resources that make our region unique.

We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside the Loyalhanna Watershed Association and congratulate them on a successful market season kickoff. Be sure to visit the Ligonier Valley Farmers Market throughout the season and support the local vendors, growers, and organizations that help our community thrive.
