After nearly two years of collaboration with Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation, we’re proud to celebrate the official launch of GoPGC, the new family of transit services for Prince George’s County.
GoPGC was developed as part of the County’s broader Transit Transformation effort.
Assedo was proud to develop and design the new brand identity, working closely with the County to brainstorm concepts, explore creative directions, and shape a cohesive identity for the County’s transit system.
The result is The GoPGC Family of Services:
GoPGC: Fixed Route Transit, formerly TheBus
Plus: Paratransit, formerly Call-A-Bus
PGC Link: Microtransit, formerly Prince George’s Link
Express : FutureBus Rapid Transit,
Each service has its own identity while remaining connected under the GoPGC family.
And the work continued from brand development to launch. Assedo also planned and coordinated yesterday's GoPGC launch event, bringing nearly two years of work together for the official unveiling. We’re excited to share a few moments from the celebration!
We’re especially grateful for the partnership and collaboration of Acting Director Oluseyi Olugbenle and the DPW&T team throughout this process.
