This may be the only time I say it. As a photographer, I want my photos to have highest quality BUT..BUT..BUT as a web designer I can't let those high resolution photos slow down my website..Grrrr what battle will you choose?!?

Hello sweet peeps! I'm very pleased with how these cupcake photos and styling turn out. Will have to show you the actual pictures in my future post.
This month is such a busy month I am literally maxed out on taking more website projects. It finally feels like many businesses are gearing up again this fall.

Touched by kindness. A week ago, we got a chance to visit my very first clients who have become our extended family/friends.
I met Dr. Dennis and Christa back in 2018 when I started my business. The story as how they became my clients is always fun to tell. I landed 2 clients literally while on a Spring break 😁
Dr. Dennis has been a dentist for almost 40 years in small town Texas. He and Christa also owns a cool Airbnb which is located on their 110 acres of land with so many cute farm animals out in a country.
I built websites and did photos for their dental office and Airbnb. Client relationships turned friend and family over the years.
I used to think that money was so important in business but I can't tell you how many people/stories I've come across have fulfilled me as a person. Every person and story makes my business journey so incredibly special and I am so honored to be a part of their journey as well 💕 Forever grateful.

This message couldn't have been a more timely one (swipe to see). I saw this popped up in my FB today. It was a message from myself a year ago.
I took a break from social media for a while. It was much needed as these past several months were nothing but frustrating and tiring when it comes to getting momentum in business. I was exhausted, anxious and frustrated with everything.
A break was wonderful, it gave me time to refocus and peace which I hadn'texperienced in months since this pandemic.
This morning when I woke up, my 11 year old handed me a card (swipe to see) and an envelope. That almost brought tears to my eyes. She gave me $80 from her piggy bank. I never told her how challenging busines has been. I told her to keep money and I'd only keep the card 💕 That was the sweetest thing.
Another thing I learned was I love doing what I do..digital/website design, photos and connecting with new people. I love EVERYTHING about them.. They keep me alive and creative. I can't tell you how many amazing places and people I've discovered and met along this journey.
Surprisingly, once you stopped chasing, things started coming your way. All of sudden, multiple new prospects contacted me over the last few weeks and my my feelings haven't been as heavy as before. Everything is beginning to change for the better I truly believe.

If this year has been rough for you, know that you aren't alone. Entrepreneurship is a stressful road but so rewarding if you can handle the heavy loads and challenges that come with it.
Take a break, don't compare with others because each person has a unique journey. I hope your difficulties and hardships come to an end soon. Hug and encouragement to all that need it.
