I was walking by a construction site and saw a banner on the fence with the Battalion Fire Protection logo I designed.

Not going to lie… I had a proud mom moment. 🥹

It’s one thing to work on a design behind the computer, but seeing it out in the real world hits different. It made me smile because I know the work, thought, and care that went into it.

Little moments like that remind me why I love what I do. Seeing a client’s brand show up and stand out is the best feeling.

Today, we remember the sacrifice behind the freedoms we experience every day and express gratitude to the heroes and families who have carried that sacrifice through generations.

The older I get, the more I realize life is really about the people we love, the memories we create, the quiet moments we once rushed through, and the strength we gain from every season we survive.

Those things matter more than perfection ever will.

A graphic designer doesn’t judge a brand by how much is included.
They notice how much the brain has to process.

When too many elements compete for attention, nothing feels important.

The brain starts asking:
• 👀 Where do I look first?
• ⚠️ What actually matters?
• 🧠 Is this worth the effort?

More information doesn’t always create more clarity.
Sometimes it creates friction.

Strong design creates hierarchy.
It helps the viewer feel guided—not overwhelmed.

A busy design doesn’t feel valuable.
