Responsibilities:
Participate in group meetings with the Business Development Offices (BDO) and Project Manager (PM) to help determine project technical feasibility and maintain minutes of meetings.
Aggregate information from multiple sources to: fully understand a design problem, eliminate risk, and formulate balanced design solutions.
Absorb complex business/project requirements; understand business/project goals and objectives and help align IT solutions with business/project requirements.
Aid project manager in developing Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) by mapping/authoring/reviewing Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
Create scalable, extensible software that meets the increasing demands of our customers.
Utilize third-party software development kits and APIs to rapidly develop basic application solutions.
Act on other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining software solutions.
Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC), software development concepts, and methodologies.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks. Experience reading process flow models and UML diagrams.
Knowledge of various test-automation technologies.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Programming Languages:
HTML5, CSS 3.0, Java Script, OWL, XLM, XHTML, PHP5, Wordpress, Jquery, Ajax Processes, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Asp.net, visualstudio
Databases:
MySQL, Ms. ACCESS
Tools:
Opencart, ZenCart , Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Wordpress
Skills:
Sound knowledge of PHP 5 and MySQL development JavaScript with exposure to jQuery and other related frameworks. Must have good understanding and working experience with AJAX. Previously worked with HTML/DHTML/XML required. Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and ability to implement large-scale projects utilizing pure CSS layout. Experience with Wordpress will be a big plus. Development of new database driven PHP applications. Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing PHP applications. Understanding of SEO best practice in web development & design.
Experience with leveraging open-source software.
Working experience of customizing WordPress themes, inbuilt functions and ability to work at the PHP code level.
