“They’re destroying Ferrari.”
And honestly?
As someone who’s owned FOUR Ferraris and FOUR Maseratis…
including a Ferrari Testarossa and a Maserati GranTurismo…
I think Ferrari fans have a reason to be worried.
Because Ferrari just revealed their first electric car…
and the internet reaction has been brutal.
Now look… on paper, the performance is insane.
Around 1,000 horsepower.
0 to 60 in roughly 2.5 seconds.
Faster than almost anything on the road.
But here’s the problem nobody at Ferrari seems to understand…
Ferrari was NEVER just about speed.
Ferrari sold emotion.
Drama.
Theater.
A Ferrari was supposed to make your heart race before you even started the engine.
The old Ferraris felt ALIVE.
The sound of a V12 screaming through a tunnel in Italy?
That wasn’t transportation… that was opera.
And now?
People are saying if you covered the badge…
this new EV looks like a slightly aggressive Nissan crossover.
That’s a disaster for Ferrari.
Because Ferrari’s entire value is built on mystique.
Scarcity.
Passion.
Fantasy.
And Wall Street noticed too.
Ferrari stock dropped over 5% after the unveiling because investors are starting to fear the company is diluting one of the most powerful luxury brands on Earth.
Then came the nuclear bomb.
Former Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo reportedly said:
“I hope someone removes the Prancing Horse from that car.”
WOW.
That’s not some random guy on Twitter.
That’s one of the men who BUILT modern Ferrari.
And I think this is the real issue…
Electric cars may be faster…
but they often feel emotionally dead.
A microwave heats food faster than a wood-burning oven too…
that doesn’t make it romantic.
Ferrari was never supposed to feel practical.
Or sensible.
Or anonymous.
It was supposed to feel dangerous.
Special.
Unforgettable.
And when Ferrari enthusiasts start saying:
“Take the badge off the car…”
They’re not attacking Ferrari.
They’re mourning what they fear it’s becoming.
Enzo must be rolling in his grave!

George Bernard Shaw once said:
“Some men see things as they are and ask, ‘Why?’
I dream things that never were and ask, ‘Why not?’”
And honestly… that one sentence explains almost every great entrepreneur, inventor, artist, and rebel in history.
Most people live inside the boundaries of what already exists.
They look at the world and accept it as fixed.
The rules are the rules.
The system is the system.
“That’s just how things are.”

But every major breakthrough started with somebody crazy enough to ask…
“Why not?”
Why not fly?
Why not put a man on the moon?
Why not build a company out of a garage?
Why not change an industry everybody said couldn’t be changed?
The people who move the world forward are almost never the people who simply accept reality.
They’re the people willing to imagine a different one.
And here’s the important part…
Dreaming big sounds glamorous until you actually do it.
Because the moment you start thinking differently, people will question you.
Laugh at you.
Doubt you.

That’s the price visionaries pay.
But history has a funny habit of rewarding the people who asked “Why not?” while everyone else was busy explaining why something couldn’t be done.
So maybe the real question is this:
Are you living inside the limits of the world as it is…
Or are you building the world as it could be?
