Thanks to a tyrannical government and such agreements as NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), Our Country's Manufacturing and Industry has gone to the dogs, so to speak! However; While we may currently have no choice, but to purchase a large percentage of CHEAP made goods from China and abroad, we DO NOT have to buy DIRECTLY from them, as well! Recent study and research proves that most o
f the top sellers of cheap made foreign goods on Ebay and Amazon are by foreigners who are not citizens or permanent residents of the USA! Some come over on the boats transporting the cheap made goods they offer on Ebay and Amazon and live in the warehouses where they operate until it is time for them to be relieved by another countryman and then, they catch a boat back to their country of origin...
Now, do you think most their money stays in the USA or goes back overseas to their families??? But, what do you think would happen if/when we too, the consumer, everyone purchases directly from these foreigners to save a dollar? Answer: Our local businesses begin to struggle, some go out of business, others go bankrupt! OUR LOCAL ECONOMY IS EVEN FURTHER WEAKENED! Trust me, we will all be better off to pay a little more to local businesses for the cheap made foreign goods we are being forced to buy and keep our money LOCAL! Buying cheap made foreign goods from local businesses instead of buying direct from foreigners IS NOT a resolve for this economical problem that all Americans have faced for some time, but if we circulate our money locally longer by supporting local businesses, it will help keep our local communities economically stronger and give us more time for a resolution...
**NOTE** And too, by the time you add hefty shipping and handling onto the items being ordered online from afar, the savings are not always greater or better! If an item costs $10 locally and you find it on Ebay or Amazon or somewhere else non-local for only $3.95 + $5.00 S&H = $8.95 you've only saved $1.05, yet you've DENIED your local business the $10.00! Do you think the damage to the local economy is just the $1.05 you saved? If and when everyone is doing this, what happens to our local economy???
