Small business marketing is a lot like feeding a pet. 🐶 You can’t feed it once and expect it to thrive forever.

You have to keep it going:

📧 Emails
🪧 Signs
👕 Branded gear
🖊 Promotional products

Marketing needs regular attention or it starts making weird noises and staring at you like, “So… are we growing or what?” The businesses people remember are usually the businesses they keep seeing.

Feed your marketing. It gets cranky when ignored. 😂

I was sitting on the couch this past weekend, enjoying the holiday and realized ‘I totally forgot about the City of Lemoore City Seal Contest!’

If you haven’t submitted yours yet, remember that the deadline is May 31st. What a great opportunity for the community to show their artistic skills.

So did we submit one? Of course! After some feedback from friends, the full colored one is the one submitted (minus the suggested inclusion of cheese, cause I just couldn’t figure out how to get that in there). The two colored version I actually liked better, but I didn’t think it would be a contestant since every submission I’ve seen so far has been in full color. What do you think?

Can’t wait to see what everyone else has come up with, and their thoughts on what represents the City of Lemoore.

Small business marketing sometimes feels like dating. 😂

You spend hours making yourself look good online… write the perfect bio… post your best photos… and then sit there thinking: “Did anyone see it?” 👀

But marketing isn’t a one-post miracle. People usually need to see your business multiple times, and in different formats before they remember you. That's why consistency wins. Keep showing up. Keep posting. Keep reminding people you exist.

Because if people only see your business once, they’ll remember you about as well as that one actor from that one movie... you know... that guy.
