The customer originally provided a ChatGPT-generated design that was too complex to convert into a vector at a reasonable cost. To make the project more practical, I recommended simplifying the artwork by reducing the number of colors and fine details while maintaining the overall shape, style, and visual impact of the original design. The image shown here is the final result.
If you've been frustrated with artwork generated by ChatGPT or other AI platforms, this approach can be an excellent solution. Simplifying AI-generated artwork before vectorization often reduces production costs, improves scalability, and results in cleaner, more usable graphics while preserving the original concept.

Here is another ai generated file that was traced. Customer agreed to having the mountains simplified, similar font styles, changes to the towers/lines and rope details were modified per their request. Projects like this require clear communication about acceptable design adjustments and realistic expectations for the final vector artwork.

Before and after of AI-generated artwork. After consulting with the customer, I recreated the design using professionally typeset fonts in a similar style. The details, colors, and fills were refined and cleaned up for a more polished appearance. While some compromises are often necessary during the conversion process, the end result is a cleaner, better-looking design that is now fully vectorized

There is no after. Ai generated art might look cool but many cannot be traced

i probably say this 3-6x per day now... "your artwork is ai generated. I cannot match the font unless all letters are traced"
