We’ve got a lot of talented marketing people in this area, and honestly… that’s a good thing. It means better ideas, better results, and more support for local businesses.

There’s room for all of us. Always has been.

I’ve been spending a little time lately working on branding myself more and creating a space that brings everything I do into one place.

I realized I needed a spot where I could connect with brands for UGC content, and when I stepped back, it made sense that a lot of the things I do tie together… marketing, freelance writing, and content creation.

So, I connected my 8-5 to my 6-9 job.
It’s still a bit of a work in progress, but I wanted to share a little sneak peek of what I’ve been building.

He’s a 4-year-old, 16-pound kitty with a big heart and lots of love to give. Ferdinand is looking for a calm, loving home where he can be the only cat.

I came across this post today with people ripping this lady apart about the cost of someone “just posting on social media.”

Running a business social media page is not just posting a photo here and there.

It’s strategy, content creation, understanding the algorithm, knowing the best times to post, building an engaged following, writing captions that convert, taking quality photos or videos, tracking performance, and constantly adjusting based on what works.That’s hours of work behind the scenes.

So ask yourself this ..

How many customers does it take to cover that cost?

Because if social media is bringing in consistent business, it’s doing its job.

Social media management isn’t a hobby.
It’s not easy.

And it’s definitely not free.
It’s a job.

And a valuable one.

Your marketing matters more than anything else.

If people don’t know who you are, what you do, or why they should choose you, nothing else matters.

Marketing is how you stay visible.

It’s how you stay relevant.

It’s how you survive slow seasons and scale during busy ones.

You can have the best product, the best service, the best team and still fail if no one knows you exist.

Say it louder for the people who think “word of mouth” is a full strategy.
