Bringing awareness to drug overdose increase in Versailles since the COVID-19 pandemic is something Brittany Campbell of Strengthening Transformations Inc. set out to do. Being able to have her share and be a Voice of Experience on ABC 36 is something we are proud of!

The fundraising campaign for Strengthening Transformations Inc. was a complete success! Planning and orchestrating the campaign was a blessing in itself, and $1225 was raised. Goal of $1000 passed! So happy to be part of and working with this org and the great cause!

But does that scare you?
Or does it bring excitement with the anticipation that something new is coming?

The truth is, to still remain relevant in your industry you have to accept change and knock out your resistance!
Change makes you uncomfortable, but uncomfortable is what you need to keep you moving up and over.

There's a worldwide change happening right now to big corporations, small businesses and people in general.

I read in an article, "Storytelling is arguably the most powerful tool in your tool box." Absolutely.

Any time you are personable, relatable, and prove yourself to be an expert at what you do, people will be drawn to what product you're selling.
What service you're providing.
What lessons you're teaching.

Outkast didn't just pull that out of the air when they made Da Art Of Storytellin all those times, it was to tell a story with a purpose. The purpose to persuade the listener to understand something of value.
And so many of us did!

Tell your story, and it will sell your business. 💙

Observing Counseling Awareness Month is important more than ever right now. Since COVID-19 has become part of our every day lives, fear has tagged along.
And you know where fear is, anxiety and depression aren't too far behind.
Now is the time to learn about the benefits of counseling, and the professionals who provide the counsel.
If the stigma on mental health wellness disappeared, people would realize what a help counseling and therapy is!
Learning ways to cope with difficult times in life, skills that help you daily and even just someone to listen to you and not judge.
Counseling is not always used for difficult times, some people go to counseling to improve what's already dope in their lives 💯
So, I encourage you this Counseling Awareness Month to set aside the stigma and learn more about the benefits.
Because, you mind should be just as important as the rest of your body. 💚
