yesterday I turned 26…

I’ve struggled with ever saying how old I am on this app because I’ve always felt like it was a barrier for me. Like my younger age was reflective of my capability to educate or teach 🤷🏼‍♀️

but today as I led a goals coaching workshop & heard awesome testimonies with people I have coached in the past, it made me realize my age actually works IN my favor. Not against it.

I have accomplished so much in my 26 years of life personally, mentally, and in the past 3 years in business, that I quickly forget and “archive” away 📁

So next time someone asks you why you’re qualified to do what you do, or what you dream to do: Tell them why. Show them the proof. Your age DOES NOT = your ability.

In fact, it can show just how far you have come in the short blink of life you’ve already conquered 🧚

Meet Kaylee! 🧚‍♀️ Kaylee is my first April Rose LLC team member as our summer intern!

Kaylee will be helping with After Hours on community management & engagement, as well as helping with my podcast Work for Honor 😇

Do you know what your clients struggle with? What keeps them up at night? 🌘

I didn’t pay attention to this key part of market research for a while.
When I started to hear what people were ACTUALLY saying, what they really were yearning for, I stopped assuming.

I would assume, “Oh this is what people deal with and their problems because It’s common and here’s how I’ll solve it.” 🤷🏼‍♀️

Writing for your audience that way is draining, and honestly a shot in the dark.
Because guess what….your audience and you might not be soulmates. You might not have the same thoughts 💭

Obsessing over this board I came up with for a new client. UPDATE ON BRANDING:
👉🏻 I have ONE spot left for March to redesign the brand of your dreams
👉🏻 I also have ONE Web Design spot left for Q2. After that spots won’t open up again until July 🌞

Tip for rebranding; if you know your busy season is in the summer, try to start your rebrand in the spring to get it done in time for a summer launch 🙌🏻

Whether you sell products, or serve others in your business: 📢 The only thing that stands between you & your ideal client booking you is the answer to this question 📢

Read the question carefully. It’s not asking the reasons why they wouldn’t work with you. 👉🏻 It’s where they ask themselves this question and they undoubtedly can come up with nothing.

Things to figure out first:
✨ What does my ideal client value?
✨ Where do I provide that value?
✨ Do I have a purple cow? (Refer to my podcast episode #14
✨ Does that purple cow align with what they value & how do I now leverage that

Ok hear me out...last year I read this book by and it changed the way I:

A purple cow is essentially what separates you from the rest of the industry pack. It’s what makes a potential client say “why wouldn’t I choose them?” 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m so pumped to start this journey with other business women and give them the space to feel comfortable to ask questions, give their opinions and really dive into how we do this whole “small business” thing as women 🤷🏼‍♀️
