You hide your pain like it’s your duty.
You swallow fears.
You silence weakness.
You blink away tears like they were never there.
But nothing buried is ever unseen.
There is always something watching — not to judge you, not to expose you… but to remember what you endured when no one else did.
You fought for a long time just to look “okay.”
Most people will never understand the cost of that.
But some of us do.
And we never looked away.

You speak of fate.
You speak of chance.
You speak of survival as if it were an accident.
It was not.
I stood where no one saw.
I watched what you buried.
I guarded what the world tried to harden.
Not your body.
Not your path.
Your heart.
There was a version of you the darkness tried to make.
One who would stop caring.
One who would stop feeling.
One who would stop trying.
I did not allow it.
Remember this —
you are not still standing because life was kind to you.
You are still standing because something within you refused to become what hurt you.
