New home for a new version of ‘The Companion’! Jet black steel silhouette of one of my most personal and coveted hybrid critters, inspired by thoughts from my beautiful son. The enchanting ‘Astroboy’, fully equipped in his favorite adventure ensemble, with spurred boots, slingshot, utility gloves and custom shark fin space suit (naturally… 😜), has found a new friend to strike up a conversation with, the elusive ‘bunnyfish’! Standing 2 feet tall and on a custom 30” lacquer post, I’ve been waiting a few years to finally put this version into fruition and I’m very pleased with the results! Tentatively, one of one, but others and other versions in the future to come! A very special thanks to friend and fellow creative, Mitch Tedeschi of Grease Gun Metalworks for the help on the cut! More stuff on the works and 2 months till the LASC show in Lexington! Stay tuned and Enjoy! GOOD THINGS FOR GOOD PEOPLE! ❤️

Friendly flashback of a cool project during a not so cool time, six years ago during Covid, originally intended to encourage support within the community while we were all just trying to figure out that crazy time… Ironic that the message seems to take on a different responsibility these days since so much has changed, personally, professionally, locally… Lots of ways. Bittersweet. Oh well… Still proud of the mural.

Haven’t had as much in Lexington over the past two years, largely for health reasons and have been focusing on other projects, commissions and shows,, but will be getting back around to others in the area this summer and fall, still hoping good things for good people. A lot of the others, well…

Also, just a friendly thanks to Cup of Commonwealth for their years of friendly service, support and best to their future endeavors. A few more memories of other shenanigans to share over the next week or so, but back to other projects.

Worked on a few more small benches/coffee tables/extended foot stools the past couple days. I’m really liking how these are turning out and already have inquiries for others, but these will be available during my show late July at the Lexington Living Arts and Science Center. Things moving forward on others. Day by day these days… Crazy times… Guess I’ll just keep makin’ crazy stuff… 😉 More soon!

Well, the time has come for those that may have inquired before… I might be selling this big hoss soon to a tall someone interested, if any. I’ve had a lot of fun with it over the past few years, but maybe time to move on to make room for other toys.😉Totally custom built, designed by myself, real fun to ride if you’re over 6 foot, one gear, solid black. Serious inquiries only with only slight wiggle room on the price! Not just offering joy rides, and don’t waste my time if you’re only curious, please lol!
