Posting at the wrong time? Costs you views.

Your people are usually on Facebook and Instagram in the morning, over lunch, and after work. That little timing shift can make a big difference for rural businesses trying to get seen. ⏰

Try a few posts in those windows this week and watch what happens.

What time do you usually post?

You're too busy running your business to post on social media. So why should you?

Because your customers are looking for you there. And if you're not showing up consistently, they're finding someone else.

Here's the thing about small-town business: word-of-mouth is gold. But it only goes so far. Social media is the modern version of word-of-mouth—it's how people discover you, trust you, and decide to buy from you.

But consistency is hard when you're juggling everything else. You know you *should* be posting. You feel guilty when you don't. And then weeks go by with nothing, and you're back to square one.

That's where I come in.

**Monthly Organic Social Media** means 8-10 quality posts every month—ready to go, scheduled at the best times, written in your voice. Real photos of your business. Real stories about your team. Real engagement with your community.

You get the consistency without the stress. Your business stays visible. Your customers stay connected. And you get your time back.

No more guilt. No more guessing what to post. Just steady, authentic growth.

**Let's talk about what this looks like for your business. Free 30-minute consultation.**

🚨 ABSENTEE BALLOT PSA 🚨

DO NOT SIGN YOUR BALLOT.

Sign the envelope. Add your birth year.

This one mistake could invalidate your vote. We've already heard from people who almost made this error.

Keep it simple:
✓ Ballot stays blank (no signatures)
✓ Sign the ENVELOPE
✓ Add your year of birth
✓ Mail or drop it off

Your vote matters. Make sure it counts. 🗳️

Tag someone voting by mail. Share this. Let's get Lincoln County voting right.

Still riding the gratitude high from our Primary Candidate Forum. I’m sharing this video to say thank you—to every single person who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make civic participation feel alive in our community.

A huge thank-you to every candidate who attended and took the time to introduce themselves, share what they stand for, and step into the public eye (it’s not easy). And to the candidates who couldn’t make it due to prior obligations: I appreciate you, too—running for office takes a lot, and we see the work you’re putting in.

I’m genuinely grateful I could help provide a platform where candidates could speak for themselves—who they are, why they’re running, and what they believe in. My hope is that you left feeling a little more informed and a little more confident heading into this voting season.

And yes—we’ll be hosting a second forum closer to the general election, and we’d love to see the same strong turnout. More details soon.

From the bottom of my heart: thank you to everyone who made this event happen, and thank you to everyone who attended.

Alright Lincoln County (and my Mountain Edge Media fam) — now that things are getting back to normal after the forum… I’ve got a GOOD one coming.

I just wrapped up a Community Spotlight video for Iron Creek Cafe & Cantina in Troy, Montana and boy howdy am I excited about this one. I’ll be honest: I hadn’t eaten there before, but after seeing their menu and watching that on-site smoked tri tip situation… yeah, I’m officially converting into a regular.

I got to sit down with the owners, Kelly & Terry, and hear how Iron Creek came to be and what their vision is for the place — and wow oh wow, they’re the kind of people you leave a conversation with feeling like you’ve known them forever. And get this… I even heard a couple stories about how Kelly went to school with my Papa and my great uncle. Small-town Montana is WILD like that.

The spotlight video drops next Tuesday — and trust me, you’re going to want to see (and taste) this one.

Go give them a like + follow on Facebook so you don’t miss it — and if you’ve eaten there before, tell me what I need to order first.

All right… Night 2 was a SUCCESS — and I’m still kind of in awe of how special these last two nights were.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single candidate who showed up for Night 1 and Night 2 and was willing to step into a structured, timed, public forum for our community. That takes courage, preparation, and a real commitment to serving Lincoln County — and it did not go unnoticed.

This forum was extremely important and genuinely so informative. I learned a ton — not just about different policies and priorities, but also about what it takes to host something like this and do it in a way that’s fair, organized, and accessible. There was a lot of behind-the-scenes work that went into this (planning, scheduling, questions, printing, staging, timing, tech, live streaming… all of it), and seeing it come together was honestly an extraordinary experience.

Thank you to our sponsors for believing in this and helping make it possible.

Thank you to everyone who showed up in person and everyone who tuned in online.

And again — thank you to the candidates for giving your time and showing up for voters.

If you missed it (or you want to rewatch without committing to the full forum), I’ll be creating clips so you can watch everything in more bite-size pieces.

And yes… it’s looking like we may be hosting a second forum closer to the general election, so stay tuned for more info on that.
Lincoln County — thank you for showing up for your community. This meant a lot.

**1913: The First Automobile** 🚗

Picture this: It's 1913. Libby has the railroad, the sawmills, the mines. But there's something about to arrive that will change everything—the first automobile to reach Libby by road from Kalispell.

Think about that for a second. Someone actually drove a car over mountain roads from Kalispell to get here. No highways. No paved roads. Just guts, determination, and a vehicle that probably broke down a dozen times.

This wasn't just a car rolling into town. It was a symbol. Progress. Connection to the wider world. A sign that Libby wasn't isolated anymore—that you could actually travel beyond the railroad tracks.

By 1912, the first toll ferry had been built across the Kootenai. By 1913, the first automobile arrived. By 1920, Libby would be a different place entirely.

Sometimes one small moment—a car arriving on a dusty road—marks the beginning of everything changing. 💙

What's a moment from Libby's history that stuck with you? Drop it in the comments—I'd love to hear what resonates with you about our town's story.
