Never Forget
9/11/01
Although time goes by, we will never forget...
Those heroes who ran towards danger to help their fellow man,
Those innocent lives lost on that day, and many since,
Those heroes that stepped up to defend our country,
Those families who suffered unspeakable pain,
Those volunteers who gave all they could,
And those who sacrificed everything...
We will never forget, and will forever be grateful.
For it is in courage, strength, and fortitude that we bond together,
It is in love of country and our fellow man that we stay united,
It is in a memory of those we lost, that we will remember them with honor,
For they shall never be forgotten, nor diminished,
And they stand a testament to us all of what a hero truly is.

Where were were you?
Do you remember?
I was at a farm in the bottom land along the river, south east of Liberty. We had a small tv. We watched. We watched the planes from KCI airport actually turn around in the sky and return to the airport.
City of Liberty will have a short remembrance ceremony at 8:30. There are others around the metro area. Please plan to attend somewhere.
