The man, the myth, THE LEGEND! Thanks for all you have done and will continue to do Bob!

I’d like to congratulate David Mansell, who will take over for me as News Director for Fun 107.1, Sports Radio 93.1 The Fan, 104.9 The Eagle, and 92.1 The Frog effective Monday, May 11.

For more than 50 years, I’ve considered it both an honor and an obligation to do my best to provide listeners with accurate coverage of events and activities in our area, and I know David will keep that tradition intact for years to come.

In the months ahead, listeners will still hear me on Fun In The Morning, and I’ll remain heavily involved in sales and production work. I’ll just get to sleep in past 1:15 a.m. for the first time since 1974.

I’m gratified that I’ll still get to do what I love in a radio industry I strongly believe in — just not so early in the day.
