I don’t use AI for any creative work but Claude has been really helpful in saving time writing out quotes & contracts.
In my experience about 90% of verbal agreements I have had led to absolutely zero compensation. Just a complete waste of time.
Doing work for “exposure” is a complete grift and a persons skill should not be wasted on that. If they offer you nothing, run.
If your work can get you a foot in the door, give them a discount. Don’t do anything for free. There are of course a few exceptions to this rule, but never settle for just a pat on the back or the promise of “future work”
