Beautiful morning again! Cool enough to wear the bathrobe to take the dog out. And she was kind enough to come back in for a bit before I ran her back out to puke in the grass. Yeah! She’s good to go now though.

Saving for retirement! If we only knew when we were younger what we know now. I really want to get ahold of high school kids and let them know how important saving is. Right now you need about $1.5 million (including interest earned) to be able to retirement on about a $75,000/year life style. So if you can do it make sure you use the catch-up contributions for those over 50. If you need a second opinion about retirement planning make sure to talk to a financial advisor. I can give you a referral to one I really like (I don't get a thing out of the referral). Or you can talk to your financial institution.

When my hubs and I decided to retire we moved to Texas. For one, because it is a state tax free state, and two to get rid of the snow element. Now we do get some hot weather in the summer but snow is mostly a non-issue now. I have come to love it here. We didn't have any family living near us where we left so there was no reason to stay. Did you move anywhere? Where to? What do you like about it? (How many went to The Villages in FL?) 😁😁
