My name is Brian, and I am the owner/operator of Linwood Trading Depot. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. At that point working a traditional job was not an option. In 2016 I started listing on eBay as a way to be productive and useful. It has been a wonderful experience and an unrelenting passion. From this Linwood Trading Depot was created. So why did I name my company Linwood Trading D
epot? The little village of Linwood, Maryland is my home town. The village grew due to the Western Maryland Railway in 1860s-1880s; having a grain mill, ice cream factory, train station, and freight warehouses/depot. Linwood served as an agricultural depot for the surrounding area, allowing farmers to load their harvest and goods to be shipped by rail. The second president of the Western Maryland Railway, Nathan Haines, called Linwood home, and was instrumental in getting the railroad to come through the town when it was built in 1862. What kind of things will you find at Linwood Trading Depot? First, vintage items. Anything that has survived the test of time. Examples: Vinyl Records, Tools, Model Railroad, Antique Car Parts, anything that has a value to someone. One of best parts of this, is finding a vintage item and selling it to someone who will treasure the item. Preserving a piece of history and getting it to someone who wants it is a priceless feeling. So what are some new items for sale? Flashlights, CDs, with more to come in the future. Some used items that are for sale are Clothes, CDs, Model Trains, magazines, books, and large variety of other things.
