I'm gearing up for portrait season.
Happy birthday to my Canon 5D Mark IV!

The Canon EF 70-200 F2.8L IS iii USM lens is a gold standard for focal clarity and soft bokeh in the background of portrait depth photos. The body is built like a tank (weighs a bit like one too) and is a lifetime tool for serious photography. I just completed a second session with Justin Dorff from Max Effect Fitness.

In a little over an hour we created a series of dynamic portraits and action shots with mood and energy at Theresa Fackler's gym in Lancaster, PA.

Action shots take a great deal of technique to capture. Speed freezes motion but needs to be accurate to capture the split second when that perfect shot happens.
