Our firm represented Target Stores on this issue. Although SB 197 was certainly not without its flaws it was a fair and equitable compromise that opened up choice for my client's consumers in a measured and fair way. They participated in these difficult negotiations in good faith and committed to legislators that they had no objections with this bill moving forward. I was proud of how our client conducted themselves in this negotiation.

Frankly, the bill was one of the few tough issues that got resolved in 2016 with almost unanimous, bi-partisan support - losing only 11 votes out of 100 total legislators.

The Colorado Legislature passed a bill this month in the waning days of the session to allow the sale of full-strength alcohol in grocery stores.

Two years ago today we began this adventure by creating this little LLC with the Colorado Secretary of State. It's been quite a wild ride and we just continue to grow by adding new clients and projects. Thanks for all the advice, support and most importantly thanks to our clients who make it all possible.
