It’s time for a museum road trip!

Southern Living has released its list of “17 of the South’s Best Art Museums,” and we're delighted to see Blue Water client, The Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, earning a spot.

The museum cares for more than 35,000 objects, including Art Nouveau furniture, 18th-century Worcester porcelain and a photography collection (with daguerreotypes, Civil War albumen prints, 20th-century images, and portraits). As Southern Living puts it, these collections "all beg for your attention." We couldn't agree more!

This American Artists Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating artists who inspire us to engage with the world around us.

“Pressing Issues” at the Chazen Museum of Art highlights Depression-era artists who turned to printmaking as a powerful tool for social justice. The exhibition addresses inequality, labor, racism and political upheaval through impactful works that invite us to reflect on our past and reconsider our present.

Theater has always helped shape the American imagination and now it's taking center stage at McNay Art Museum. Recently featured in The Wall Street Journal’s Arts Calendar, “A People’s History: The American Experiment on Stage” offers a compelling look at the power of storytelling through theater.

Open through Nov. 8, the exhibition explores how live performance has challenged and redefined the nation's identity. Through costumes, set designs, scripts, photographs and other theatrical artifacts, “A People’s History” examines the stories that have unfolded onstage and beyond.
