Circumnavigated Lake Erie over the past few days, gaining inspiration at two fashion museums, historic locations, and gardens. It's back to work tomorrow.

It's an early morning wakeup when everything electric stops.This is the first time we've had an outage lasting more that a few minutes. This one covers a large area, no crews dispatched yet, and estimated restore is at least 3 hours from when it started. Sounds like it will be a fun day.

New equipment. I'm very happy with it so far as it's easier to thread and not as temperamental as my Singer serger. I think (hope) it will not crap out on me every time I have a deadline. Plus, it looks good sitting next to my Brother sewing machine, too. On a side note, the Brother sewing machine hemmed jeans without any issues even at the side seams. There are reasons why my Brother machines are my primary ones.

Reasons why fingers are kept away from the needle and eye protection is worn. My embroidery machine "threw a needle" today.

Also reasons to edit purchased designs so the stitches aren't too heavy or too small - this design has both.😪
