The sale is open!

After sharing the bittersweet news about studio closure last week, we have been overwhelmed by thoughtful messages and words of encouragement from you all. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out.

Also, we are grateful to announce that much of the studio equipment has been reserved and will be ready to pick up this week. From an after school program in Brooklyn to a high school classroom in Queens to a Kichwa artist collective in the Bronx, we are thrilled that our equipment will be finding a home in communities all over New York City.

Starting today, we are selling select furniture, props and decor items from the studio at discounted prices. We also have a very limited number of *free* studio equipment left.

At the end of last year, we made the very difficult decision to close the studio – a space that we poured our hearts into for the past three years. We will be officially moving out at the end of this month, and we are no longer accepting bookings.

After getting hit with the pandemic less than a year after opening, there have been significant roadblocks over the past three years. Still, we were moved to tears every time a repeat client shared with us how much they loved returning to the space or a photographer shared with us the personal project that they worked on during their free studio hours through our Emerging Photographers Program. Our dream was to create a thoughtfully appointed and affordable studio that serves as a home base for emerging photographers and entrepreneurs in NYC, and over the years, we had the opportunity to host hundreds of productions. We are grateful to everyone who stepped in through these doors and graced the space with their vision and artistry.

We are hoping to donate a bulk of the studio equipment to a non-profit photo organization or photo education program to be reused for educational purposes. If you are one (or know of one) and may find some use for *free* studio equipment, please email us at [email protected] or tag an organization below. Local pick-up only. Here’s what’s available:
