It is amazing, the things we do, without really thinking, “What have I done or said” that we can NEVER take back , no matter how much forgiveness we seek. Like a photograph, scenes frozen in time and space, we sometimes allow negative thoughts to come forward and melt the positive in our lives.
Like a photo, no matter how much you want to change that expression or where you are, it can’t be done. WHAT IS…IS!
Only GOD can change things. He is the creator of WHAT IS. Give it to Him with love and gratitude.
That’s what I believe and I am sticking to it.

Just curious! What would you do if someone punched you on the nose, knocking your sense’s out of focus and causing a severe nose bleed?

How long would you wait to respond?

Would you call a committee together, before taking some sort of action?

On the 12th of February my grandson, Brandon Maxwell, the famous designer, ( he probably wouldn’t want to say that, but he actually is famous. His Brand’s label is also Brandon Maxwell, Anyway, he invited me to New York to attend his FW22 runway show during fashion week. At the show Brandon honored his grandmother and grandfather. I have a tendency to get a little emotional when I think of how much he really loves us. If you are interested in watching his show in it’s entirety, go to YouTube, search for Brandon Maxwell.

Brandon knows i am an amateur artist and that I love to paint. He ask me to paint 10 paintings of flowers. From those he selected a rose and had it transposed to fabric . It turned out great! so he designed a beautiful gown and had Karli Kloss, one of the worlds most popular models, wear it down the runway.
I thought Louise’s eyes being projected onto the wall above the models entrance was fantastic. Brandon swears she is the reason he is a designer. Though neither was aware he was being mentally programed. You can’t get that at a University, even though he didgot his sheepskin from St. Edwards.
Karli walked trough the packed house showing off my painting. Then Brandon came out for his well deserved applause. He stopped at my sear and asked me to walk with him down the runway. As we return, Larli came out and held my left arm and walked me back stage.Stand ovation!
I wanted to take a second bow, but Brandon held me back.(kidding)

It has been a fabulous week. I came to the The Big Apple to attend the Brandon Maxwell, my grandsons fall 2022 fashion show, where he honored his grandmother for influencing his decision to become a fashion designer.
His grandmother, Louise Johnson, is currently bedridden. She suffers from dementia and a mild stroke, which effects her ability to speak. She is home and under Hospice care. I am sitting in for her.
The show was wonderful. Brandon transposed rose that I painted onto fabric and made a beautiful dress, which Karli Kloss modeled as the last garment in the show. WOW! She is gorgeous and so pleasant to visit with. What an honor that was. Brandon even walked me down the runway, as a final gesture and Vogue shared that moment with the world. WOW!
What a night!

Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s amazing how many atheists are decorating their homes for Christmas, which is for celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Not sure, but often wonder if it is because deep inside they are questioning their beliefs in Darwin’s theory of relativity or they just don’t want people to ask, “Are you saved?”

Actually though, I discovered (meaning, I found out) that there are other reasons that people decorate:
1. Many people believe that Christ is the Messiah, and want to celebrate His birth, but don’t like organized religions of any kind.
2. To let the world know that there IS a real God and they want you to know, even though they don’t go to church, they believe.

I’m sure, if I thought about it, there are many reasons people participate. Whatever that reason is, it is your reason and God knows your why and he loves us, no matter our reasons.

WHY IS IT

A man wakes up in the morning after sleeping on an advertised bed, in advertised pajamas. He will bathe in an advertised soap, shave with an advertised shaving cream, eat a breakfast of advertised juice, cereal and toast (toasted in an advertised toaster), put on an advertised outfit and glance at his advertised watch. He will ride to work in an advertised car, sit at an advertised desk, smoke advertised ci******es and write with an advertised pen. Yet this man hesitates to advertise, saying that advertising does not pay.

Finally, when his unadvertised business goes under, he will advertise it FOR SALE!
