Quarterboards and More Quarterboards and More makes custom quarterboards (signs showing boat's names), carved and hand-painted to order following New England sailing boat traditions.

We're a husband-wife team based in Lookout Mountain, GA and make and ship signs worldwide. All of our painted quarterboards are carved in solid hardwood. Our premium quarterboards are generally carved in either Teak or Mahogany wood unless otherwise specified. All quarterboards are finished with 5 coats of marine-grade Spar urethane for long life in any environment.

Just about the time we were trying to decide on a name for our house( yes, you should name your house), we had these beautiful little Carolina Wrens -‘Thryothorus ludovicianus’- that would visit and sing to me while I was working in the yard and thus,
“Wrensong” was born.
