Thanks to AbleARTS for the great tour of their newest building which included a look at a donated Yamaha Piano decorated by artists and placed in the foyer of the building. It was a great pleasure. I look forward to submitting fiber art work in December.

During POW! WOW! 2018, EngAge senior artist participants and I took a walk and met the mural artist Kamea Hadar. He was in the middle of painting his fantastic mural. We had a rare opportunity to hear Hadar speak about his process and what the mural meant for him.

I am happy to share the special POW! WOW! video below, because it highlights a lot of what Hadar told us last year.

Creative exploration doesn't have to be a grand gesture. Being an artist, who is worthy of my own attention, means challenging myself to make relevant work and never feeling like I have to apologize for being who I am.
I am creative. Sometimes a little and sometimes a lot, all at one time. Loading my mind with inspiration is part of the "ride". Being accepting of the format from which my work emerges is part of the process.
Using my creative ability is survival for me. I love art, and I love sharing what I create with my friends. What makes you feel creatively inspired?
