There was Running Antelope, or Onepapa, featured on the front of each 1899 $5 bill. This is the only piece of United States paper money ever to feature a Native American. But Native Americans got angry about this note, because it portrayed a Lakota, and the headdress was Pawnee...Lakota and Pawnees were enemies...

Drink water where your horse drinks, a horse will never drink bad water. Make your bed where the cat sleeps peacefully. Eat fruit touched by a worm. It fearlessly collects mushrooms on which insects perch. Plant a tree dug by the mole. Dig a hole where the birds hide from the heat. Sleep and wake up at the same time as the birds, you will reap the golden grains of life. Eat more greens, you will have stronger legs and a resilient heart like the spirit of the forests. Look at the sky more often and talk less so that silence can enter your heart. and your soul is calm and your life is peaceful

What ls The lmportance of Culture ln Our Life?
Culture is characterized through a groupโ€™s unique traditions, rituals, attitudes, beliefs, and values.
One main reason why well-known cultures have languages is to define the cultural heritage of the natives of the culture.
It is known that humans have a basic psychological need for individual identity, which can be shown through membership in distinct cultural groups.

I'm Not As White As I Look โค๏ธ
Moses J. Brings Plenty (born 4 September 1969) is an Oglala Lakota television, film, and stage actor, as well as a traditional drummer and singer.
He is best known for his portrayal as ""Mo"" in the Paramount Network series Yellowstone. Moses Brings Plenty was born on the Pine Ridge Reservation, in South Dakota. He is a direct descendant of Brings Plenty, an Oglala Lakota warrior who fought in the Battle of Little Big Horn. His wife is Sara Ann Haney-Brings Plenty. His nephew Cole Brings Plenty portrays Pete Plenty Clouds in two episodes of 1923.
As an actor, he has played bit parts in Hidalgo, Thunderheart, and Pirates of the Caribbean. He also played Quanah Parker in the History Channel documentary Comanche Warrior, which was filmed on the Wild Horse Sanctuary in the southern Black Hills, and Crazy Horse on The History Channel's Investigating History documentary ""Who Killed Crazy Horse"" and the BBC documentary series The Wild West. He acted in Rez Bomb, considered to be the first movie with a universal storyline set on a reservation. Rez Bomb has been part of the international film festival circuit instead of playing strictly to Native American film festivals, which is a major breakthrough for Native cinema.
In addition to doing theater work in Nebraska, he also portrayed an Apache warrior in the 2011 science fiction western film Cowboys & Aliens and a character named Shep Wauneka in Jurassic World Dominion in 2022.
Brings Plenty is concerned about providing accurate representations of Native peoples in mass media. He says, ""Young people told me they donโ€™t see our people on TV. Then it hit me, they are right. Where are our indigenous people, people who are proud of who they are?"" Brings Plenty also works behind the scenes on Yellowstone and its spin-off prequels 1883 and 1923 as Taylor Sheridan's American Indian Affairs Coordinator to make sure that each show appropriately represents Native culture."

It looks like an Albino White Buffalo has been born. The last one, born in the 1840s, was a White Albino Bull.

Faith is a female. This is the background information posted with this picture.

"Native tribes in Montana are celebrating the birth of an ultra-rare sacred female white bison calf.

The white buffalo, a female born at Bitterroot Valley Bison Ranch in Missoula, has been named The Creator's White Buffalo Maiden. According to researchers, only about one in a million buffalo calves are born white, and many lose their snowy coloring as they grow.

Albino white buffalo were never or only rarely seen, even when 60 million buffalo flowed across the great plains like a great river. This prompted the name "Brown Thunder," when the earth literally trembled, and the plains were covered with dust.

Tribal members believe the White Buffalo Maiden has immense cultural significance. Some say she represents the strife plaguing our nation, while others claim her arrival means women should take more leadership roles in tribal affairs.

About 30 people from Montana's seven main tribes gathered in Lolo on August 29 for a ceremony honoring White Buffalo Maiden's arrival.

'I think the Creator sent this calf here because of all the injustice that's been done,' Glenn Gopher, who conducted the ceremony, told the Great Falls Tribune.

'She shows that we need to love and respect one another. ' Gopher said. 'Love and respect are missing in this country; our lawmakers are out of hand.' He said the group prayed 'for peace and harmony for all humankind.'

'It was the most beautiful appearance,' Gopher told the Tribune. 'I'm sure I will never see anything like that in my lifetime again.'
Aside from her tribal name, the rare bison has been named Faith by the ranch's owners. It also appears that she may be an Albino, with pink ears, a pink nose, and pink eyes, the rarest white buffalo. The Creator's White Buffalo Maiden would be the first albino white buffalo recorded in more than 150 years when a white male albino buffalo was born, as profecied.

The appearance of this white male albino foretold the coming of a long, bitter spiritual wintertime. This is why the birth of a white female albino buffalo, to some, foretells the return of women's leadership, as most Indigenous nations were matriarchies before the arrival of colonial patriarchs.

An Albino White Buffalo, like the Albino White Elephant, is considered Wakan, Sacred."
