We're expanding our world-class visual solutions.

As A3 Visual grows, so does our commitment to handling the massive scale of event branding required today. We see it on the ground. The requests are getting bigger and the vision is getting bolder.

So we needed someone who could keep up.

McCrae Dunlap has joined the team as our first draft choice of the year.

He is stepping into our Business Development Team out of Los Angeles, focused specifically on new client growth. He'll be working directly with:

→ Creative Agencies
→ Healthcare
→ Entertainment

But the momentum isn't stopping in LA. We are expanding our sales presence in San Francisco and Miami too.

The photo below was taken just as we wrapped our recent work for the Clippers and the College Football Championship. Feels like the exact right setting to kick off a new chapter.

Welcome, McCrae. Here’s to a massive year ahead.

Our 10x10 FIFA World Cup booth strategy revealed.

LA Tourism needed a booth for the FIFA World Cup Watch Party. 100 square feet to capture the energy of an entire city while people walked past at event speed.

Here's what we learned when brand guidelines met physical space constraints.

You're able to print anything on a flat surface. That's the easy part.

Making brand patterns work when they wrap around corners, stack in layers, and look intentional from every angle? That's where dimensional design gets interesting.

We pulled from LA Tourism's past activations and their established color palette. Then faced the real problem: how do you create depth in 100 square feet?

Three design decisions mattered:

→ Layered elements instead of flat walls. We built depth through a printed fabric back layer, then added a plexiglass print decal on the front to create dimensional separation. Gatorboard cutouts, including a palm tree standee, added shadow lines and visual interest. A single flat graphic reads like a poster. Multiple planes at different depths read like an environment.

→ Backlit components for visibility. Event spaces are crowded and loud. We ran LED lighting around the inside perimeter, creating backlighting that cut through the visual noise without requiring more square footage. The light draws eyes before people consciously decide to look.

→ Floor graphics that anchor the space. We printed a 10x10 floor graphic that tied into the World Cup theme and visually expanded the footprint. Combined with a custom front counter featuring the soccer ball logo, it signals where the experience starts before visitors step inside.

The technical details that made this work: Modular aluminum frames let us install fast and keep clean lines. No visible hardware means the design stays front and center.

Color accuracy mattered more than expected. When you're representing a city's brand at a global event, the blues and golds need to match exactly. We ran test prints and adjusted until the output matched the brand guide under event lighting.

Gatorboard gave us dimensional stability without adding weight. The standees needed to survive setup, teardown, and potential bumps from crowds.

Small booths aren't limitations. They're exercises in intentional design. We learned to make every element earn its place. The skyline. The surf culture references. The sports energy. Each piece had to communicate LA's identity without explanation.

This project showed us the future of event design lives in the details. How materials catch light. How layers create movement. How a 10x10 space feels bigger when you design for the experience instead of the measurements.

We're carrying these lessons into every booth design now.

What's your approach to working within tight space constraints?

Unlocking $13M from city buildings.

It started as an experiment back in 2021.
Now, Let's Glow SF has morphed into the largest holiday projection arts festival in the country.

But when I walk through downtown, I don't just see the art.
I see the math.

As the technical architects, we at A3 Visual approach every structure as a unique problem.
Because you can't just point a projector at a facade and hope it works.
We study the geometry.
The specific texture of the concrete.
Even the unpredictable fog of a San Francisco December.

We deploy high-brightness Panasonic projectors paired with Modulo Pi media servers just to cut through the ambient city glow.
It’s heavy logistical work.

And it works.
Last year, 87,500 visitors flooded the streets.

→ $13.2 million in economic impact for local businesses.

Restaurants filled up. Hotels booked rooms.
The city felt alive in a way that permanent construction can't always achieve.
We proved that if you give people a reason to come downtown, they show up.

Public art is a legitimate economic engine.

We are already planning year six.
