Long ago, in the vast forests of the North, a people believed that every star in the heavens was the soul of an ancestor. When night fell and the wolves howled, they heard not merely a call, but a sacred conversation between earth and sky.

Among them lived the legend of the Spirit Wolf – the Keeper of the Northern Lights. It was no ordinary wolf, but a guardian woven from wisdom, loyalty, and strength. Upon its body shimmered sacred patterns—symbols of fire, water, wind, and earth—each glowing like a constellation, a reminder that life on earth is forever bound to the great universe.

On nights when the aurora danced, the Spirit Wolf appeared to guide the wandering souls of the departed toward the Star of the Ancestors. With its head lifted high beneath the swirling heavens, the wolf’s proud gaze reached the eternal flame of creation.

through waters kissed by lilies,
where moonlight scatters
like silver beads of memory.

She belongs to the Ojibwe people,
keepers of lakes and rivers,
her song woven with the ripples,
her silence deeper than pine-shadowed shores.

Feather in her hair,
it sways with the night wind,
a prayer carried upward
to ancestors watching among the stars.

The water lilies bloom,
their white petals whispering,
“Strength is found in gentleness,
and beauty in stillness of spirit.”

She bows her head,
listening to the earth’s heartbeat—
