Chili’s tapped Lizzo to breathe new life into the iconic Baby Back Ribs jingle with a nostalgia-driven campaign that blends pop culture with pure brand recognition 🎶🍖
The spot pays homage to the legendary commercial with shot-for-shot callbacks to the original before flipping the script with Lizzo’s signature style, a brand-new verse and a flute solo played on a custom Baby Back Rib-shaped flute. also recorded an acapella version of the classic jingle, performing every vocal herself and giving longtime fans a modern take on a song they already know by heart 🪈
The campaign also doubles as the launch for upgraded Baby Back Ribs, now featuring meatier portions, up to 50% more ribs and a caramelized BBQ crust - proving the fan-favourite menu item still hits decades later 🔥
