This week, the TRG team was out filming for the Metro LA River Path Project, capturing the people, places, and moments that make this corridor so special.

A big thank you to Metro Bike Share for lending us bikes and helping us experience the path from a rider's perspective. It was a great day exploring the river and imagining the future of a continuous 51-mile path that connects communities across Los Angeles.

We're excited to share more soon!

The Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust’s annual Party for the Parks brought together community leaders, park advocates, public officials, and supporters for an evening celebrating the power of parks, green space, and community stewardship across Los Angeles. Held on June 4, 2026, at Unidad Park in Historic Filipinotown, the event honored several outstanding leaders and organizations advancing park equity and environmental justice throughout Los Angeles.

Among the honorees was the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Park Needs Assessment Team, represented by City staff and the consultant team, including TRG, OLIN, Estolano Advisors, and Agency Artifact, who accepted their honor alongside fellow honorees including Nature for All and Rosie Lee Hooks, Director of the Watts Towers Arts Center Campus. The evening highlighted the partnerships and collective vision helping create a greener, healthier, and more connected city.

Party for the Parks also raised funds to support the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust’s work through ticket sales, sponsorships, and an auction.
