How PC works
Each computer consists of its own computing system and input-output devices. All calculations are performed by a microprocessor (CPU - Central Processor Unit). With the help of various input devices (keyboard, mouse, scanner), you can enter information into the PC, and with the help of output devices (monitor, printer), it displays it to you.
Since a computer needs somewhere to store the information it works with, it must have memory. To store information, two main types of memory are used - operational (RAM - random access memory) and permanent (ROM, read-only memory). The current data of calculations are stored in RAM, programs are also loaded there at the time of their ex*****on. It is with this memory that the processor communicates, since it works very quickly. At least 64 MB of such memory is usually installed on modern personal computers.
