SHE CALLED ME A B*TCH AT WORK!

I work in a department where leave slots are determined by lottery. I WON my preferred vacation time in June to see family overseas after a stressful two years. A colleague who lost the lottery began pressuring me to give up my slot, constantly reminding me she has a husband and four kids. Six months after moving into our first suburban home, we hired a surveyor to replace a collapsing patchwork fence. While he marked the property line, our elderly neighbor stormed over and said we were "not allowed" to build. Her reason? I broke, I just put my tools and products down and walked away. I said she could use my brushes and products to finish her look because evidently I wasn’t doing enough. I could hear her kicking off and shouting at me from the next room. I felt awful for walking away despite how she treated me so I went back in. But she continued to belittle me and be rude. I'm (35F) and my husband (36M) are at odds because MIL (68F) has cancer and wants to move in. I cannot live with her! She's disrespectful, abusive to our toddler, and a bad influence. I suggested treatment in her home country or an apartment nearby, but she insists on living with her son. I told my husband either he can move in with her or I can move out with the kids. It makes sense for me to move out because our 4 bedroom house would be excessive for just him and MIL. But I don't want a divorce!
