This has been an absolute game changer for my mental health and general wellbeing. In addition to adding a daily fitness practice to my morning, collecting my thoughts and laying them out on paper has also become part of my story. Habit tracking, journaling, a gratitude list, and my to-do’s for the day are all incorporated and it makes a world of difference.
As someone who suffers from severe ADHD, consistency has always been one of the toughest things that I’ve struggled with. But something changed this time around. So far it’s been over four months of the same daily routine. To some, that might not seem like much, but to me, it’s been a significant accomplishment.
For those of you who are interested in giving it a shot, I based the initial format on something shared in a couple of videos over the years and added in my own personal elements. The concept of the “signal and the noise” that shared on in reference to something Steve Jobs used to do has also been a great way to build priorities. It’s been massively helpful across the board.
If you’re looking for a system like this, I’m happy to share. Just reach out and I can take you through what works for me.
