My fiance was dating 'Katy' for years then they broke it off. She still comes around since she's close to his family. By how much time they had dpent together, Katy seems to know my fiance really well. That didn't bother me at first, but it became an issue when she asked that I let her give a speech st the wedding since she knows him well, and wanted to tell 'few funny' stories about him. I felt extremely uncomfortable and told her I was sorry but it didn't think if was appropriate for her to do that. My fmil got involved and started lecturing me saying I need to stop being negative and claimed I was making this 'about me' (but that's my wedding!) My fiance is choosing to stay out of it, but the pressure is on me now. I'm being called 'oversensitive' and needed to 'losses up' as this could be a good opportunity to add more laughter and joy to the event, but to be completely honest on here, I don't want his ex to take any part in our wedding, even if she's a friend of the family and they'd known her since she was a teenager.

ETA: I guess this a thing I need to do but no I don’t and will not give permission for this to be used in and YT videos or anything else. The background details: my (42F) husband (46M) and I have been married for 21 years. Three months ago, I discovered that he had been cheating on me pretty much the whole time. He has two children with another woman (13F) and (6M) and this woman is now pregnant again; she claims all three kids are my husband’s and he has not disputed that. For anonymity details, I won’t say how I found out, but I was and am absolutely devastated. I’ve decided that I’m divorcing my husband, but I can’t afford to move out until April when I get my yearly bonus from my workplace. My husband and I both work full time and we have a 2 month old. My mother in law comes to our house every weekday and watches him for free while we work. We’re on week 3 of this arrangement since I went back to work after maternity leave. It’s very kind of her to do this for our family and I appreciate it immensely. My baby is breastfed. I pump milk for her to give him during the day and he gets milk right from the source on evenings and weekends. He loves nursing and I do too. It’s been a wonderful way for us to bond and a beautiful experience overall. Yesterday while I was at work, I opened the baby monitor app on my phone to check and see if my MIL was able to get him to take a nap in his crib. She had been texting me saying he was crying really hard so she was thinking about just holding him for a nap, so I wanted to check and see if he was okay and if she ended up just holding him. When I looked at the camera, MIL was holding him and she had her shirt up and he was latched onto her b__ast. I was shocked and horrified.
