SHE REFUSES TO WORK!
I (40sM) and my wife (40sF) have been married for 15 years, together since our teens. I've financially supported us since the beginning. She hasn't worked since 2004, stays home with our 12 & 5-year-olds, and doesn't drive. We moved, and the cost of living increased. My heart pounded in my chest as I broached the subject. Next year, when our youngest starts school, I asked if she'd consider getting a job; we're living paycheck to paycheck, and my salary plus military disability isn't enough.
