So flash forward to last weekend ... Beth, her boyfriend (now fiance) and baby Leo came over for dinner. My grandparents were also there. After we'd finished dinner we were having dessert and out of the blue Beth and her boyfriend made an announcement she was pregnant with a second child. I did try to put on a brave face and not show my emotions but I was teary eyed and my grandmother noticed. We immediately understood and congratulated her. When she started looking for a job she had to accept the only job that was easy to reach with public transport. After getting the job she told me she'd never drive and I told her that was ok but I would not be driving her places anymore because she had years to start driving and chose not to. When I told her this she said she didn't think I was serious about her driving and that it was controlling to force her to drive when she didn't want to and when it made her anxious, and that it was even worse to force her to quit her hobby.

Initially, it was a girls' trip, but Mary and Kitty decided to bring their boyfriends, which already irked me. The original hotel plan was two rooms, but they never booked extra rooms for their boyfriends, assuming they could snag some upon arrival. Chaos ensued when no rooms were available. UBER DRIVER PUT CHILD AT RISK?!

I work at a school with teenagers. Our school van was broken, so I got permission to Uber with 3 students for an errand. The Uber arrived, and one student gasped, “Wait, that can’t be our car; there’s a kid in the front seat!” The driver's child was sitting there, meaning only 3 seats available. But one time at lunchtime I wasn’t hungry so didn’t eat anything, and I swear she was giving me dirty looks the whole time, then said ‘you should really start eating more’ to me. To clarify, it was obvious she was saying it to be insulting, not because she cared about my health or anything (I normally eat loads). So anyway, I was annoyed at this comment, and said ‘what and start to look like you? No thanks’ Then, she walked out, and was very upset.
