***PRESS RELEASE***
I’m so excited to announce that seminal music supervisor Pete Hasty has joined Obsidian Audio as our Senior Creative Consultant and exclusive representative!!

Pete’s experience as a music supervisor spans decades, and this partnership immediately brings confidence and elevates what we’re building at Obsidian Audio. His work directly with editors, supervisors, and filmmakers on campaigns like Dunkirk, Mad Max Fury Road, The Conjuring, Wonder Woman, Hunger Games, and many more brings a sharper creative standard to everything we do.

Obsidian Audio was built as a boutique high end custom music house with a modern editorial perspective. With Pete as both consultant and rep, Obsidian is now more focused, more connected, and in a stronger position to compete and land campaigns at a higher level.

WINK premiered at Sundance this year and is finally out in the world!!

I had the pleasure of scoring this gorgeous short from about a one-eyed cat searching for love and belonging.

This one hit home for me. I’m a lifelong animal person and have spent a lot of time working with rescued animals, so WINK touched a very specific part of my heart. I’m proud of how the music carries the emotional thread and grateful I got to be a small part of it.

If you love animals, animation, or stories with real soul, keep an eye on this one. 🐱

What You Think You Know:
A riotous garage rock anthem that blew the doors off every festival stage in the late 2000s.

What You Need to Know:
The song was written as a declaration that rock was not dead, it was just waiting to blow up again.

Why We Trailerized It:
It’s unapologetic, loud, and unstoppable. The perfect blend of swagger and precision that makes a trailer explode.
