Key Responsibilities

• Advise GIZ projects on planning and delivering workshops, conferences, trainings, meetings, and official events.
• Develop event concepts, logistics plans, and budget-friendly solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation for procurement processes and support supplier evaluations.

Requirements

• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience conducting market research and managing event suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage).
• Willingness to travel regularly across Sierra Leone.

About the Role

Doctors with Africa CUAMM is seeking a qualified Accountant to support the S.K.I.L.L.E.D – Strategic Knowledge and Inclusive Learning in Health Sector for Youth Employment and Development project. The successful candidate will manage financial records, process payments, ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements, and support financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily financial transactions and payment processing.

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.

Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.

Prepare and process cash, cheque, and bank transfer payments.

Update accounting records using the organization's accounting software.

Ensure timely payment of statutory obligations.

Support procurement payment verification and documentation.

Maintain staff finance records and project financial files.

Prepare financial documents for audits.

Ensure compliance with CUAMM and donor financial policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience using accounting software.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English and Krio.

Willingness to travel to project locations when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with an international NGO.

Experience managing AICS-funded projects.
