It’s funny how God can put someone in your path and you just know there’s a reason. 🤍

I met this beautiful soul on set, and last night we went to Indigo Crow, ate steak, laughed until we cried, and we also got deep enough in conversation that we actually cried. Which you all know is not hard for me to do these days.

There’s something so special about finding a like-minded woman in this industry who understands the crazy, the dreams, the challenges, and the calling behind it all. But finding someone who loves Jesus the way I do? That’s the kind of connection I don’t take for granted.

Some people you meet and think, “Oh, she’s cool.” And then there are the people where you leave dinner thinking, “I think God knew I needed this friendship.”

So thankful for this new friend and for a night I didn’t know I needed eating medium rare steak.

POV: You’re a mom from New Mexico and somehow your daughter ends up walking the runway at NEW YORK FASHION WEEK. 🗽✨

This trip to New York was already a dream for me, but watching my daughter walk for during NYFW was something I’ll never forget.

I spent the week running around New York doing what I love: creating, networking, shooting, meeting incredible people, and taking in as much of the fashion world as I possibly could.

But then there was HER.

Backstage.
In hair and makeup.
Getting fitted.
Waiting for her call.
And then suddenly… she was walking.

MY DAUGHTER.
ON A RUNWAY.
IN NEW YORK CITY.

As a photographer and producer, I’ve spent years behind the camera watching other people have their moments.

This time, I got to watch my own daughter have hers.

From New Mexico to New York. 🤍

And honestly?

I’m still processing it.

Thank you Samantha Veretto and Samantha Veretto for giving my girl a runway she’ll never forget. You’ve completely made this possible for her! You’re the most encouraging designer I have ever encountered!✨
